Durante la semana del hist\u00f3rico PPV, Holloway convers\u00f3 en el canal de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GiIZlQUz59U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a><\/strong> de <strong>Demetrious Johnson<\/strong> (@Mighty). En diciembre de ese a\u00f1o, perdi\u00f3 el cintur\u00f3n frente a <strong>Alexander<\/strong> <strong>Volkanovski<\/strong> y desde entonces no ha podido recuperarlo. Inclusive, acumul\u00f3 tres derrotas en total contra el australiano, por lo que era complicado que recibiera otra oportunidad con \u2018The Great\u2019.
