Olvidado en el panorama titular de 185 libras, Jared Cannonier<\/strong><\/a> ha propuesto una fascinante pelea para dar con el siguiente retador al t\u00edtulo.<\/p>\n

Cuarto en el ranking, Cannonier ha desviado su atenci\u00f3n a Khamzat Chimaev<\/strong><\/a> con tal de recibir una segunda oportunidad al trono que actualmente ostenta el sudafricano Dricus du Plessis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“A esta altura, \u00e9l se encuentra en la novena casilla. Estoy dispuesto a que esa pelea suceda siempre y cuando sea una eliminatoria por el t\u00edtulo”, supo manifestar Cannonier durante una entrevista con Inside Fighting (v\u00eda MMA Mania<\/strong><\/a>). “Si para cuando regrese no me dan una oportunidad por el t\u00edtulo, lo mejor que pueden ofrecerme es una pelea que me d\u00e9 una oportunidad por el t\u00edtulo. Y si me dicen que ese es Khamzat, entonces lo har\u00e9”.<\/p>\n

Cannonier no ha visto acci\u00f3n desde imponerse por fallo un\u00e1nime a Marvin Vettori<\/strong> en la estelar del UFC Vegas 75<\/strong>. Esa fue su quinta victoria en sus \u00faltimas cuatro obligaciones por el oct\u00e1gono. Sus \u00fanicas derrotas desde haber bajado a la divisi\u00f3n en 2018 fueron ante los excampeones Israel Adesanya<\/strong> y Robert Whittaker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Chimaev, que hace poco ventil\u00f3 sus frustraciones con Dana White<\/strong> y UFC, se meti\u00f3 en el top 10 de Peso Mediano imponi\u00e9ndose por decisi\u00f3n mayoritaria a Kamaru Usman<\/strong>, excampe\u00f3n de 170 libras, en la coestelar del UFC 294<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
