Durante su carrera pas\u00f3 por otras promotoras como: <strong>Shooto<\/strong> <strong>Europe<\/strong>, <strong>EVT<\/strong>, <strong>Cage<\/strong> <strong>Warriors<\/strong>, <strong>M<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>1<\/strong>, <strong>TFS<\/strong>, entre otras. Lleg\u00f3 a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmaaldia.com\/es\/tag\/bellator\/\"><strong>Bellator<\/strong> <\/a>en 2014 y disput\u00f3 18 combates de los cuales gan\u00f3 11 y perdi\u00f3 7.<\/p>\n<p>Tras sumar una derrota m\u00e1s, en esta ocasi\u00f3n frente a Burnell, Weichel dej\u00f3 los guantes en el centro de la jaula y mencion\u00f3 lo siguiente:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u00abQuiero agradecerles a todos en la arena por la incre\u00edble atm\u00f3sfera, por el maravilloso apoyo que le dan a los peleadores. Lo aprecio desde el fondo de mi coraz\u00f3n, los amo a todos. Deseo decirle gracias a mi familia, a mi esposa, quien me apoy\u00f3 durante estos a\u00f1os. Gracias a mi equipo de <strong>MMA<\/strong> <strong>Spirit<\/strong>, especialmente a <strong>Niels<\/strong> (<strong>Schlaegel<\/strong>) por estar conmigo desde el comienzo. Tambi\u00e9n le agradezco a mis amigos que estuvieron en este camino\u00bb<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Dentro de Bellator, Weichel fue retador al t\u00edtulo del Peso Pluma en dos ocasiones, pero <strong>Patricio<\/strong> <strong>Freire<\/strong> impidi\u00f3 que se convierta en campe\u00f3n. El primer enfrentamiento entre ambos se dio en <strong>Bellator<\/strong> <strong>138<\/strong>, cuando el brasile\u00f1o lo noque\u00f3 en el segundo asalto.
